What's New for '07?:

Trip Dates:

Departing Thursday May 24th, 2007
Returning (to Chicago) Memorial Day, Monday, May 28th, 2007

Trip Meeting Place:

Traditionally, ATL has begun in the Woodfield parking lot, meeting there at 3:30AM and stands up at 4:00AM on the first day of the trip.  We will continue this tradition again in 2007 for those that are interested (and do not cheat).

However, the official meeting place for ATL2007 is Stooges Restaurant in St. Joseph, MI.  Meet there at 8:00AM, and please note that Michigan is one hour ahead on Eastern Time.

Establishment of ATL NFP Inc:

We have incorporated into a not for profit organization, called ATL NFP Inc.  This corporation will assume all responsibilities for organizing ATL2007 and beyond.  Tad and Otter, along with a third party, sit on the board of directors of this new corporation.

ATL2007 Cost:

We will be charging $50 per participant for ATL2007, of which $20 will be non-refundable.  This $50 will be used to cover the following costs on this trip:

  1. Pizza dinner at the Traverse City Hotel, night one of the trip
  2. Wawa BBQ dinner, night two of the trip
  3. All costs related to Breakfast at Grandma's
  4. A souvenir T-Shirt for ATL2007
  5. Costs related to the post-ATL BBQ
  6. Administrative costs for organizing the trip

In addition, we will be requiring everyone to sign a waiver before going on ATL2007.

Border Crossing:

You will NOT need a passport to cross the US-Canada borders on ATL 2007.

If you are not already aware, the requirement to posess a valid US passport in order to cross the Canadian border has been delayed until 2008.  We are still OK this year to cross the border with a driver's license or a stamped copy of your birth certificate.  Please see the following link for more information:    http://travel.state.gov/travel/cbpmc/cbpmc_2223.html
