This leg is the first leg of the trip that differs from a standard ATL.  We will head towards Sault Ste. Marie either via the Interstate, but preferably by any route you choose through the Upper Peninsula backroads.

At Brimley, pick up Lake Shore Drive and enjoy the southern views of Lake Superior as you ride past beautiful beaches and a lighthouse or two.  At Paradise, despite the lack of a road on this map, head north for 11 miles on Whitefish Point Road to the town of Whitefish Point.
