| Heading west on Route 2 will
get you all the way to the hotel in Superior...but wait a minute, there's lots to see
along the way, so don't get ahead of yourself. First one to the hotel (Tim) has to
buy the beer, so there's no rush (MJ, I'm talking to you). When you get to Bessemer, take the Black River Harbor Parkway north. Along the way, you will ride past that ski jump that you saw from Lake in the Clouds, and you can even take a gondola ride up to the top. This is a really nice ride and if you have the time, take it. Pay attention now....this next one is easy to miss but should be considered a "don't miss" for the day...unless you spent 5 hours exploring Copper Harbor and are now just struggling to make it to the hotel before everyone else is alseep. At Ironwood, take Lake Street (also County Road 505) and enjoy this scenic highway for a few miles that takes you right along the lakeshore. Trust me - this is a much better route than boring old US Route 2....and don't worry, you'll see plenty of Route 2 on the way to Superior.
