| At Nipigon, pick up Trans Canada 17 and
head East. It's about 110 miles to Marathon from here, and the ride is nice the
entire way. Stop early, stop often. Take your time and enjoy this beautiful ride. Labeled with a map note above is Aguabason River Gorge - this is a must see if you haven't stopped there before. See the incredibly powerful waterfall, feel the mist in your face, and breath the clean air of Canada. At Marathon - keep going for one more hour. We're staying in White River tonight, so keep going on TC-17. The hotel will be on your right when you get into White River, just before the Winnie the Pooh statue. |
