Day 3 Leg 1 The early morning air will be crisp as you mount up and continue northwest. After only a few miles you'll be immersed in more of the same from yesterday. The route between Marathon and Nipigon gets a little twistier today with some nice long sweeping corners and elevation changes. All the while, the blue water of Lake Superior will be on your left. The huge bluffs will dwarf you as you ride along. |

| At the town of Nipigon is a very nice overlook showing the bay and the road that you just travelled. Continuing down the coast towards Thunder Bay, the road will straighten out a bit as you ride through some farmland. As you approach Thunder Bay, more cliffs and elevation changes will appear, and the views of Lake Superior will never disappoint. |
