| Further on down the coast are more state
parks including Split Rock Lighthouse State Park, which offers incredible
views of the Lake Superior shoreline. Take your time and see what you
find. Eventually, the road will gain a lane and you'll be heading into Duluth. After the 10 degree rise in temperature as you ride through the downtown area, you'll end up on I-35 for just a few minutes. Veer left onto I-535 and you'll cross over into Wisconsin. Hold onto the bars going across the bridge and beware of the cross-winds!! The hotel will be immediately on your right as you exit the bridge. With any luck, Tim will already be there distributing the essentials. The town is right on the waterfront with plenty of food and drink to be had.
